The Scribe of the Royal Great Library of Orvelia. Using runes, he heals allies and erases beneficial magic from foes.

Overview[edit]

Here is what I believe to be a balancing mistake from the devs. When the devs created Baudouin, I'm sure they intended him to be an arena support. But perhaps he was too good at his job, as evident from the fact that he was in every arena team.

So the devs have two choices - to nerf Bau and risk incurring the playerbase's wrath, or to release a new hero that specifically counters him, which coincidentally also provides them with more income from Ruby purchases.

There's no need to guess which option they took - that's why Leo was created, that's why he's everywhere in arena now, and that's why he's extremely shitty out of arena. Leo's sole purpose is to erase Bau from existence in arena, and he does his job well enough, but outside it, he's pretty much useless.

Right now in arena, it's a game of cat and mouse - Leo is only popular because Bau is popular. His very existence pushes Bau out of the meta, which is why if you see Challenge League teams right now, they're literally all Leo teams with some Bau sprinkled in.

Leo's heal and damage skills are garbage when compared to the healing capability of Kaulah or the debuff capability of Phillop. His one defining skill, the silence, can be helpful in arena even with the absence of Bau in the opposing team, but he does have a counter...
