Overview[edit]

The Tower of Challenge is a 65-floor tower that is reset the first day of every month.

Special first time clear rewards can be obtained here, and any repetition of a previously cleared floor will yield in Artifact Pieces and a small amount of gold.

The tower uses a special energy currency known as cubes which charge at a rate of 1 per every 2 hours and cannot exceed 5 cubes.

Failing or exiting a floor will not use any cubes. A 3-star clear (meaning no deaths in your party during that round) is not necessary to advance to the next stage. The following is a layout of the monsters that reside in the tower.

  • When the battle begins, all of the monsters will use a skill to dig into the ground and pop back up near your front line. Throughout the battle, they can all use this skill again to move themselves behind your team to attack.

Reward on first clear: Special Meat Stew (provides 60 stamina when used) and gold

Floor 23: (4) Level 43 Monsters[edit]

  • The Mask of Orc can be utilized on this stage but only works on the Chief Orc Priest. Darkness of Kaulah is not considered a ghost type monster so physical damage does work on him. Also, while the Darkness of Kaulah is considered a back-line monster, the way the monsters line up will appear to make the Chief Orc Priest and one of the Darkness of Kaulah look like front liners.

Reward on first clear: Mysterious Fragment and Gold

Floor 26: (4) Level 46 Monsters[edit]

Living Sword (minion, front): Physical Damage with 413,152 HP, 12,811 ATK, 200 P.Def and M.Def.

Living Hammer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 413,152 HP, 12,811 ATK, 200 P.Def and M.Def.

  • When the battle starts, the Living Shield will use a skill that protects itself from damage. It will use this throughout the fight.

Gem Tortoise (minion, front): Magic Damage with 587,503 HP, 18,241 ATK, 229 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Ancient Magic Golem's position on the field is a little strange. It looks like it's a mid-liner but it's in the attack range of a front liner. Anyways, the Ancient Magic Golem has a skill where it creates a shield.

Reward on first clear: Special Item Summon and Gold

Floor 30: (2) Level 50 Monsters[edit]

Orc Swordsman (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,234,662 HP, 40,134 ATK, 240 P.Def and M.Def.

Skeleton Archer x2 (minion, middle): Physical Damage with 676,945 HP, 21,017 ATK, 251 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Skeleton can be utilized on this stage. You will engage the Skeleton Charger first because the Skeleton Great Swordbearer has a slower movement speed.

Reward on first clear: T5 Enchantment Crystal and gold

Floor 32: (4) Level 52 Monsters[edit]

Elite Goblin Plunderer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 731,340 HP, 22,707 ATK, 1055 P.Def and 221 M.Def.

Goblin Plunder Chief (minion, front): Physical Damage with 731,340 HP, 22,707 ATK, 1055 P.Def and 221 M.Def.

Skeleton Great Swordbearer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 731,340 HP, 22,707 ATK, 263 P.Def and M.Def.

Elite Skeleton Great Swordbearer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 731,340 HP, 22,707 ATK, 263 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Goblin and/or Mask of Skeleton can be utilized on this stage. You will engage the Goblin Plunder Chief first because the other monsters have slower movement speed compared to it. Both the Elite Goblin Plunderer and the Goblin Plunder Chief have a skill that boost their attack, and it stacks. The attack buff doesn't seem to have a duration, so once it's used it stays on the monster until it dies. Sorry, I don't know the max stack of the buff.

Reward on first clear: Queen Orb (Blue quality) and Gold

Floor 33: (3) Level 53 Monsters[edit]

Berserk Golem (Boss, front): Physical Damage with 1,545,201 HP, 50,190 ATK, 276 P.Def and M.Def.

Elite Skeleton Great Swordbearer x2 (minion, front): Physical Damage with 808,960 HP, 25,094 ATK, 276 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Skeleton can be utilized on this stage. You will engage the Berserk Golem first and then the two Elite Skeleton Great Swordbearers. One of the monsters (I believe it's the Skeleton) has a skill that temporarily lowers your defense.

Reward on first clear: XP Booster and Gold

Floor 34: (4) Level 54 Monsters[edit]

Mad Goblin Bomber (minion, front): Physical Damage with 862,236 HP, 26,773 ATK, 162 P.Def and M.Def.

Giant Skeleton (minion, front): Physical Damage with 862,236 HP, 26,773 ATK, 289 P.Def and M.Def.

Stinging Muhroom x2 (minion, middle): Physical Damage with 862,236 HP, 26,773 ATK, 289 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Skeleton and/or Mask of Goblin can be utilized on this stage. You will engage the Mad Goblin bomber and one of the Stinging Muhrooms first because the Giant Skeleton has slower movement speed. The way the enemy monsters are organized, the Muhroom can shift between a front liner and a mid-liner.

Reward on first clear: Hot Spring Egg (use to obtain 80 stamina) and Gold

Floor 35: (2) Level 55 Monsters[edit]

Lich x2 (minion, middle): Magic Damage with 1,724,900 HP, 56,065 ATK, 303 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Skeleton does not work on this stage. The Lich seems to be a mid-liner but I suppose it could be a back liner. Anyways, this boss has the same mechanics as the boss from Chapter 4, Stage 21 (Malduk), just under a different name (Lich). This stage is all about getting both the Lich under crowd control status, such as knockdown, frozen, or stuns. The Lich will use a skill that generates a shield that negates any incoming damage, resist crowd control skills, and also pushes back your front and middle positions. The shield will drop after an amount of time or after taking a certain amount of damage. Usually the second time the Lich uses a shield, it will release a blast that travels in a straight line dealing damage and makes you unable to use skills during the blast. From what I've seen, the blast can also activate the first time the Lich shields, so just make sure you take down the shield with damage and then stun them.

Reward on first clear: Mysterious Fragment and Gold

Floor 36: (3) Level 56 Monsters[edit]

Harpy Archer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,005,583 HP, 31,200 ATK, 317 P.Def and M.Def.

Elite Harpy Wind Master (minion, front): Magic Damage with 1,005,583 HP, 31,200 ATK, 317 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Dark Elf and/or Mask of Harpy can be utilized on this stage. When you start, the Ballista will shoot your front liner, knocking them back.

Reward on first clear: Crescent Bracelet (Purple P.Def Accessory) and Gold

Floor 37: (3) Level 57 Monsters[edit]

Elder Gnoll Shaman (Boss, middle): Magic Damage with 2,103,156 HP, 68,323 ATK, 332 P.Def and M.Def. Poisonous Spider Queen x2 (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,101,039 HP, 34,161 ATK, 332 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Elder Gnoll Shaman has a skill that shields him and the two Poisonous Spider Queens have a skill in which they jump and then land, causing a quick knockdown debuff.

Reward on first clear: Moonlight Stone Orb (Purple quality) and Gold

Floor 38: (4) Level 58 Monsters[edit]

Giant Heavy Armored Skeleton (Boss, front): Physical Damage with 2,423,865 HP, 78,771 ATK, 348 P.Def and M.Def.

Orc Totem (minion, front): Magic Damage with 663,637 HP, 19,692 ATK, 710 P.Def and 724 M.Def.

Dryad Totem (minion, middle): Magic Damage with 1,268,942 HP, 39,385 ATK, 348 P.Def and M.Def.

Harpy Totem (minion, middle): Magic Damage with 663,637 HP, 19,692 ATK, 348 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Orc and/or Mask of Harpy can be utilized on this stage. On this stage, the Dryad totem provides an area heal for all enemies every 3-4 seconds, the Harpy Totem provides an attack speed buff, and the Orc Totem provides a stackable attack buff. To beat this stage, I recommend you use your team's damage skills simultaneously to bypass the healing of the Dryad totem. You can also use a shackle skill, like from Dimael, which should shackle all the monsters for 6 seconds (at least Dimael's skill does) and then try to kill them all in that time.

Reward on first clear: 5 Stamina potion: Master and Gold

Floor 39: (4) Level 59 Monsters:[edit]

Blue Slime (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,435,614 HP, 44,547 ATK, 364 P.Def and M.Def.

Demon's Skull (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,435,614 HP, 44,547 ATK, 364 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Skeleton can be utilized on this stage against the Demon's Skull. Only the Blue Purine can use the skill that spawns one smaller version of itself.

Reward on first clear: Special Item Summon and Gold

Floor 40: (1) Level 60 Monster[edit]

Dragon Treant (Boss, Front): Magic Damage with 5,656,034 HP, 202,133 ATK, 381 P.Def and M.Def.

  • I've seen this boss use 4 types of attacks. The first attack is when it attacks with its right arm (the arm farthest from your screen) in which it swipes twice dealing Physical damage (it says the Dragon Treant is a magic damage dealer but my tank with 84% physical block rate blocks this hits, so I'm pretty sure this attack is a physical one). The second attack is with his opposite (left, closest to your screen) in which the dragon charges (red skill timer bar will be shown under his HP) and attacks (from what I've seen, this attack deals no damage). The third attack is when the Dragon pulls back its head and charges a breath attack, dealing damage to the entire party. The fourth attack is when it stomps (this is its charge animation) and then smashes into the ground, damaging front liners and mid-liners.

Reward on first clear: Mask of Skeleton and Gold

Floor 41: (4) Level 61 Monsters[edit]

Elite Goblin Hunter (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,836,454 HP, 57,025 ATK, 287 P.Def and 223 M.Def. Dark Elf Archer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,836,454 HP, 57,025 ATK, 399 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Goblin/Skeleton/Harpy/Dark Elf can all be utilized on this stage.

Reward on first clear: Artifact Pieces and Gold

Floor 42: (4) Level 62 Monsters[edit]

Heavy Armored Orc Warrior (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,997,006 HP, 62,005 ATK, 1675 P.Def and 335 M.Def. Skeleton Shieldbearer (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,997,006 HP, 62,005 ATK, 418 P.Def and M.Def. Gnoll Shield Warrior (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,997,006 HP, 62,005 ATK, 418 P.Def and M.Def. Elite Gnoll Shield Warrior (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,997,006 HP, 62,005 ATK, 418 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Orc and/or Mask of Skeleton can be utilized on this stage. Although the Skeleton Shieldbearer is a front line type monster, it has a rush skill and is also has slow movement speed.

Reward on first clear: Silver Hot Spring Egg (use to obtain 100 stamina) and Gold

Floor 43: (4) Level 63 Monsters[edit]

Dark Elf Ballista x4 (minion, Front/middle): Physical Damage with 2,207,664 HP, 68,533 ATK, 438 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Dark Elf can be utilized on this stage. This stage is hard to beat, but it's possible. The way I did it (which I'm sure is one of many) was by using Baudouin as my healer. The ballistae will deal some heavy damage to your party, and for this method you'll need to stack physical defense, physical block/dodge, or the physical block/reduction rune that fits in the weapon slot. You will need enough to tank the first hit from the ballistae (really helps if your entire team can tank this first hit because it fires as soon as the round starts) and then activate Baudouin's 3rd skill to shield. This'll make you invincible for 7 seconds while also healing you. All you need to do is deal enough damage to defeat all the ballistae while you're invincible.

Reward on first clear: XP Booster and Gold

Floor 44: (3) Level 64 Monsters[edit]

Elder Gnoll Shaman (Boss, back): Magic Damage with 6,652,609 HP, 226,690 ATK, 459 P.Def and M.Def. Gnoll Warrior (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,272,819 HP, 37,782 ATK, 459 P.Def and M.Def. Gnoll Shield Warrior Chieftain (minion, front): Physical Damage with 1,272,819 HP, 37,782 ATK, 459 P.Def and M.Def.

Mad Thief (Boss, front): Physical Damage with 5,112,037 HP, 166,173 ATK, 481 P.Def and M.Def. Dark Elf Assassin (minion, front): Physical Damage with 2,676,280 HP, 83,085 ATK, 481 P.Def and M.Def. Laughing Mask Assassin (minion, front): Physical Damage with 2,676,280 HP, 83,085 ATK, 481 P.Def and M.Def.

  • The Mask of Dark Elf can be utilized on this stage. The Mad Thief is just the boss from Chapter 5, stage 15-1 (Orleans) just under a different name. He has a skill that boost his attack and also a multi strike skill similar to Roi's first skill. Be sure to keep your party's HP up and stun-lock the enemies (stun-locking is just timing your cc or crowd control skills so that the enemy cant attack/use skills). Stun-locking will prove helpful on the upcoming floors.

Reward on first clear: Mysterious Fragments and Gold

  • The Mask of Dark Elf can be utilized on this stage. Darkness of Cleo is not considered a ghost type monster so physical damage does work on her. Remember to stun-lock.

The big slime summons smaller slimes that explode, this explosion cannot be tanked without immunity skills. The explosions deal magic damage despite the big slime being physical.

Killing the small slimes prevents the explosion, slows can make the explosion happen slower allowing for more DPS.
